DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (March 3, 2021) — Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, Inc. (Sevan) — a global leader in innovative design, program management, construction services and data analytics — celebrates women during International Women’s Day, Women’s History Month and Women in Construction Week.
These holidays raise awareness for opportunities for women, fight bias and promote equality. Our goal at Sevan is to continually promote and support the advancement of women’s careers and growth as individuals and leaders.
March marks the beginning of Women’s History Month. The month honors and celebrates the determination of women and their achievements throughout history. We commend female individuals from varying backgrounds whose resilience inspires us and drives change.
Another important holiday this month is International Women’s Day on March 8. This global day also celebrates the accomplishments of women in every facet of society. This year’s theme was Choose to Challenge to call out gender bias and inequality. This day strives to appreciate the efforts of women in history and today as we work toward building a more inclusive world.
Women in Construction week (March 7-March 13) highlights the remarkable influence women have had in the construction industry. It is dedicated to not only highlighting their vast contributions, but to also raise awareness of the opportunities available to women in the industry. The number of women in construction is growing, and we are excited to see continued growth at Sevan.
Every day, we are grateful to all the outstanding women that empower our team. Thank you to all the women we’ve had the pleasure of working throughout the years.
See below for input from a handful of our team members about all the Women’s holidays this month.

“I love working in the construction industry and showing my two young daughters that everything is an option for them. I think it’s so important to teach the younger generations to break through the boundaries of stereotypes, push through the “norms” of what society tells you and stand proud in whatever it is you want to do!” | ||||

“Sevan has always been a company centered around its people. The team’s trust bestowed in me has influenced and helped me become an effective leader in construction.
In a male-dominated industry, I urge women to continue to be assertive, be leaders and ask hard questions. These three ideals have helped me navigate the construction industry. Everything is possible!” |

Angelica was visited by her daughter at one of her locations (McDonald’s Major Flagship in Chicago) and took this picture. Her daughter later added the Mom graphic on her hat and sent it in a Mother’s Day card. |
President & CEO Jim Evans visited her a couple of times at that location to show support.
