CHALLENGE
Before work had begun on the EV bay area, the site had been a typical verge area adjacent to a petrol filling station. It had poor vegetation and no landscaping between the site’s main entrance and exit.
SOLUTION
Wyeth performed a detailed investigation of services and thorough coordination of the statutory services, gas, electric, water and telecoms. There were two main gas runs, five high- and low-voltage electric traces, two foul sewers, three surface water sewers, three main traces of bundles of telecoms cables including fiber optics and two clean water feeds in the area.
RESULTS
The result was a modern and clean-looking EV hub for up to eight vehicles. The site has become very popular, and the client remains happy with this project and many others we continue to work on together.
