CHALLENGE
Luxottica started remodeling North American stores for various brands including LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, Ray Ban, Oakley, Oliver Peoples, Target Optical and Pearle Vision. Every project included complex millwork and display fixture installations with specific brand standards. Prior to starting, all locations went through an extensive lease review process to ensure the current or new location supported the remodel.
SOLUTION
Sevan’s program management team conducting lease reviews for corporate and franchise locations, and provided a summary and abstract to Luxottica Construction, Real Estate and Legal for approval. The PMs managed the project through material orders, millwork coordination, budgeting, bidding and oversight of each brand prior to turnover. Sevan also managed the construction for both corporate and franchise locations, ensuring all branded sites were completed to Luxottica’s standards on time and on budget.
RESULTS
Sevan completed project management work at over 215 sites, performed 360 lease reviews, managed 400+ millwork installations and provided time-lapse recordings of 8 locations to document the complexity of the millwork and fixture installation process as Luxottica investigates additional suppliers to streamline the process.
