50%+ reduction to Entitlements & Permitting Time
Eliminated Excessive Construction Costs
CHALLENGE
BP policy states that every five years, sites must go through a structural inspection. The site inspections generally consist of reality capture work for the canopies that cover the fuel stations. Canopy assessments for fuel stations required highly trained staff who must follow strict regulations and adhere to safety standards while conducting each assessment.
SOLUTION
Sevan deployed a fully integrated team that flexed to BP’s needs: A Real Estate & CZP Manager established standardized LOI and work-letter language while flagging risk early; a Construction Lead introduced a uniform bid form and procurement workflow; a Field Project Manager maintained site execution; and dedicated Financial and Data Analysts synchronized BP’s SAP data, guided change-management, and built collaboration tools. This end-to-end support gave BP a single, disciplined partner from contract through permitting and build-out.
RESULTS
With Sevan’s Real Estate/CZP management, construction leadership, field project management, financial analysis, and data-analysis services in place, BP slashed its development life cycle down to 9-18 months; cutting some timelines in half. Budgets remained transparent and aligned with initial estimates, the real-estate team negotiated stronger deals, and the A&E team adhered to design standards while minimizing off-site improvements and costly redesigns.
